Space Shuttle Endeavour docks with International Space Station

This is a busy time for NASA crews aboard the space shuttle Endeavour and the International Space Station. They’re outfitting the new Japanese Logistics Module with supplies and equipment, which is the first onboard laboratory for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The astronauts are also finishing assembly of the Canadian robotic service system, called Dextre. This shuttle mission (STS-123) will be the longest mission to the space station, because it’s a sixteen day flight. Plus there are five spacewalks planned, two of which are already completed.

Atlantis carries Columbus to ISS

Space shuttle Atlantis launched into orbit today carrying the Columbus science laboratory, which is Europe’s primary contribution to the International Space Station.

I didn’t realize you can rent or buy movies and television shows as digital downloads from amazon.com, until I got an email from them. It’s no wonder amazon is so big. Their marketing strategy is pretty smart, and pretty simple too. Customer buys a DVD; amazon.com sends email promoting their digital download site, AmazonUnbox Video Downloads.

Larry King Loves The Beatles

Larry King Live hosted Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Olivia Harrison, Yoko Ono Lennon, and Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil, and celebrated the first year anniversary of the show LOVE, the brainchild of George Harrison and Guy Laliberte, a high tech blend of modern circus theatre set to an exciting mashup of Beatles music remixed by Sir George Martin and his son Giles.
