Ludwig Classic Maple

I have found the most beautiful set of drums @ musiciansfriend.com!
This Ludwig Classic Maple five-piece kit is a replica of the set that John Bonham played in the early years of Led Zeppelin.
I have been considering re-covering my old ’73 Ludwig kit with maple shells. If I can get it to look like this kit, then I’m in business. They sound great, but the chrome finish is really beat up after years of playing. I figure I can’t go wrong with maple on maple shells.

SLOOH Online Telescope

This is so cool. SLOOH is an online telescope you can remote control from the comfort of your own chair. It’s two 14-inch telescopes perched on top of a remote mountain in the Canary Islands, off the coast of Africa. For $99 a year, you get unlimited access to the scopes, or if time is booked up, you can simply join in on whatever viewing session is taking place.
